Lagos Announces Traffic Diversions for Electric Powerboat Championship 2025

Lagos State Government announced traffic diversions for Africa’s first Electric Powerboat Championship scheduled from October 3 to 5, 2025, at Victoria Island Lagoon. The Ministry of Transportation disclosed total road closures and alternative routes for motorists during the event.

Motorists were advised to use specific routes to navigate the affected areas, ensuring smooth traffic flow. The diversion plan aimed to manage movement during the E1 Series Africa maiden electric powerboat race, enhancing safety and efficiency for participants and residents alike.
