Lagos Begins Compensation for Oworonshoki Demolition Victims, Aims for Modern Community Transformation

Lagos State, through LASURA, has initiated compensation for residents affected by the recent Oworonshoki demolition. 80 beneficiaries have been identified, with payments ranging from N3 million to N5 million based on property types. The Director-General of LASURA, Mr.

Oladimeji Animashaun, expressed gratitude to Governor Sanwo-Olu for the support. The long-term plan includes regenerating Oworonshoki to meet modern standards and improve living conditions, emphasizing urban renewal and community development efforts.
