Lagos Doctor Remanded for Issuing Fake Medical Reports to Aid Activist in Evading Arrest

A Lagos-based medical doctor has been remanded in prison for allegedly providing fake medical reports to assist activist Adetoun Onajobi, known as JustAdetoun, in evading police arrest. Adetoun had made online accusations against individuals, including former boxing champion Anthony Joshua and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun.

The doctor confessed to issuing fraudulent medical documents and obstructing justice. Adetoun failed to appear before the police despite earlier claims and remains at large.

The Ogun State government has denounced the activist's claims as false and malicious. Investigations are ongoing to identify any accomplices in the case.
