Lagos Lawmaker Kasunmu Distributes Aid, Announces Fourth Term

On Tuesday, Adedamola Kasunmu, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, announced his intention to contest for a fourth term representing Ikeja Constituency 2. During this announcement, he distributed cash gifts and equipment to 500 beneficiaries as part of the "Renew Hope" empowerment program aligned with President Bola Tinubu's agenda.

Each beneficiary received N100,000 in cash, alongside various trade equipment such as deep freezers, fans, and hairdressing kits. Additionally, two Toyota Hiace buses were provided, and grants for solar power generators and laptops were distributed to support youth artisans.

Kasunmu emphasized his commitment to prioritizing the welfare of his constituents and delivering the dividends of democracy. He also highlighted the importance of community support and urged beneficiaries to utilize the items received for sustainable development rather than selling them.

The initiative received commendation from local leaders, reinforcing the focus on grassroots improvement in Ikeja.
