Lagos State Arrests 15 for Reselling Used Plastics

The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps apprehended 15 suspects for allegedly collecting and reselling used disposable plastic plates to food vendors in the Jibowu Railway Corridor. This operation was disclosed by Tokunbo Wahab, the Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources.

The arrests were part of a broader enforcement exercise aimed at curbing environmental violations and ensuring public health safety. The operation reflects the state government's commitment to addressing environmental issues, as indicated by the recent arrest of 144 individuals across Lagos State for various offenses, including street begging.
