Lagos Police Deny Partisan Politics Allegations, Ensure Neutrality in Patrols

The Lagos State Police denied allegations of partisan politics, emphasizing their commitment to neutrality and enforcing the law. Deputy Police spokesperson Oluseyi clarified that police personnel were not involved in any partisan activities in the state.

A joint police team, including conventional officers and tactical squads, was deployed to patrol Alimosho Local Government Area to prevent crime and maintain public safety. The deployment, which began on September 4, aimed to ensure peace and security in the area.

The Commissioner of Police reiterated the command's neutrality and urged residents to report genuine complaints rather than resorting to misinformation or blackmail.
