Police Launch Manhunt After Shooting in Surulere, Lagos

Adedip Adeyinka, popularly known as Agali, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen around 11:30 PM on a weekend near the National Stadium bridge in Surulere, Lagos. The attack occurred in a busy area known for its nightlife and heavy traffic, triggering panic among residents and commuters who fled in various directions upon hearing gunfire.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with many unsure of what had happened. Adeyinka was quickly evacuated from the scene, and emergency responders arrived shortly after.

The Lagos State Police Command confirmed that he was rushed to Mainland General Hospital in Yaba, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Following the attack, the police deployed tactical teams to the area to gather intelligence and track down the shooters.
