Lagos Restricts Traffic for 'Asiwaju' Mini-Marathon in Support of Bola Tinubu

Lagos State has announced traffic restrictions for the 'Asiwaju' mini-marathon organized to support President Bola Tinubu. The marathon, scheduled to take place in Lagos, aims to foster unity, discover athletic talent, and mobilize grassroots support for Tinubu's leadership ahead of the next general election.

The event, organized by the Oril Agege LCDA Chairman, Mr. Dipo Liadi, includes categories for youth, professionals, elderly, persons with disabilities, VIPs, and representatives from various communities.

A total prize of 2.3 million naira will be awarded, with the first 200 finishers receiving 10,000 naira each and seven elite athletes awarded 50,000 naira each. Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, has endorsed the event, emphasizing its significance in symbolizing Tinubu's transformative leadership.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has urged motorists to comply with traffic regulations to ensure smooth movement and avoid delays during the marathon.
