LASTMA Issues Traffic Advisory for Pro-Tinubu Mini-Marathon in Lagos

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has released a traffic advisory ahead of the pro-Tinubu mini-marathon scheduled to take place in various parts of Agege, Lagos. The event, organized by the Orile Agege LCDA under the leadership of Chairman Dipo Liadi, aims to promote unity, identify sports talent, and mobilize grassroots support for President Bola Tinubu's administration in preparation for the upcoming elections.

The mini-marathon will feature participants from different categories, including youth, professionals, elderly individuals, persons with disabilities, and VIP representatives from the Hausa and Igbo communities. Cash prizes totaling N2.3 million will be awarded to the first 200 finishers, with the top seven athletes receiving N50,000 each.

Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has expressed major support for the event, emphasizing the importance of cooperation with traffic officials to ensure smooth traffic flow during the marathon.
