Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu Urges Respect for Enforcement Officers in Stakeholders Engagement

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has cautioned residents against attacking government enforcement officers, emphasizing the need to address grievances through proper channels. At the 2025 Stakeholders Engagement on Physical Planning Permit Rebirth, organized by the Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA), the Governor and other officials stressed the importance of respecting and cooperating with enforcement officers to ensure a functional society.

Residents were warned against verbal or physical attacks on officials and encouraged to utilize established government platforms for complaints. The government remains committed to transparency, accountability, and citizen protection in building a resilient Lagos.
