Lagos to Host EcoNexus 3.0 on Climate and Economy

Lagos State is set to convene EcoNexus 3.0, a high-level forum scheduled for March 24, 2026, at Victoria Island. The event, organized by Vanessa Obioha, Special Adviser to the Governor on Climate Change and Circular Economy, will focus on unlocking financial value from climate and circular economy initiatives.

The theme for this edition is "Beyond Compliance: Monetizing Climate and Circular Actions." Titilayo Oshodi, the Special Adviser on Climate Change and Circular Economy, noted that this year's forum will shift its focus towards translating sustainability efforts into measurable economic value. EcoNexus 3.0 aims to introduce new approaches for industries to move beyond regulatory compliance and recognize the structural monetization of sustainable circular economy initiatives already in place.

The forum will feature sessions on economic opportunities for women in sustainability, aligning with global discussions around International Women's Day, and will be part of Lagos State's broader strategy to enhance public-private collaboration in climate action and circular economy innovation across Africa.
