Lagos State Government Launches Transport Survey to Enhance Urban Planning

The Lagos State Government, through the Lagos Bureau of Statistics and in collaboration with the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) and Lagos Ferry Services Company (LAGFERRI), has introduced a transport survey to gather feedback on the public transport system. The initiative aims to enhance urban planning by capturing the real experiences of Lagosians with public transport services.

Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu emphasized the importance of inclusive policies and citizen engagement in shaping the future of transportation in Lagos. The survey will focus on rail, road, and water transport services to address key issues and improve service delivery.
