Filmmaker Lancelot Imaseun to Launch Memoir on 30-Year Career Behind the Camera

Veteran filmmaker Lancelot Imaseun will launch a memoir documenting his three decades in the film industry on November 27, 2025, at the Mike Adenuga Centre, Alliance Francaise in Ikoyi, Lagos. The event will kick off with activities in various streets of Benin City, Imaseun's birthplace, on November 15.

A colloquium will also be held to unveil Imaseun's oil foundation aimed at reviving dramatic film clubs in schools across Edo State. The book launch will be attended by notable individuals such as Captain Hosa Okubor, Senator Daisi Danjuma, and Sir Emmanuel Isikaku.
