Abuja Property Owners to Receive Fresh C-of-O Following Land Use Conversion Approval

In Abuja, 374 property owners across 15 streets in the Federal Capital City (FCC) are set to receive fresh Statutory Right of Occupancy Certificates following the approval by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, for land use conversion. The affected property owners were found to have converted their land use without proper approval, violating the terms and conditions of their grants.

They have been given until September 10, 2025, to pay a fee of N5 million. The affected streets include Gana Street, Maitama District; Usuma Street, Maitama District; Yakubu Gowon Crescent, Asokoro District; and others.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) issued a notice to this effect.
