Lagos State Signs Four PPP Agreements for Digital Services

The Lagos State Government signed four significant Public-Private Partnership (PPP) concession agreements aimed at advancing digital services across various sectors including healthcare, transport, and outdoor advertising. The agreements were formalized during a ceremony coordinated by the Office of Public-Private Partnership, in collaboration with the Ministries of Health, Transport, Justice, Environment, and Water Resources.

A key project involves the development of the MyLagosApp, a unified digital platform designed to provide residents and visitors seamless access to government services over a 10-year concession agreement with La Cr Nigeria Limited, with technical support from MTN Nigeria. The platform will facilitate various services, including payments and traffic updates.

Additionally, a 20-year concession agreement was signed with the Lagos State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency (MVAA). Mr.

Bukola Odo, a special advisor on public-private partnerships, emphasized the strategic nature of these agreements in translating government policies into tangible improvements for Lagos residents.
