LAUTECH's SSANU Launches Lecture Series, Honors Educators

On September 18, the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso branch, conducted its inaugural public lecture and awards ceremony. The event aimed to explore sustainable development pathways for the Nigerian university system.

The lecture, titled "Emerging Digital Transformation for the Advancement of Nigerian Universities through Innovative Funding Models: The Strategic Role of Key Stakeholders," was presented by Hon. Adejare Bello, Pro-Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), represented by Professor Adesola Aderounmu. The event was attended by LAUTECH principal officers and distinguished guests, who were also recognized for their contributions to education and community development, including Alhaji Lamidi Monsur Ayoade Ejide and Senator AbdulFatai Buhari.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu emphasized the importance of administrative efficiency in universities and called for prioritizing the welfare and involvement of senior staff in digital transformation initiatives.
