Nigerian Diaspora Celebrated at Triangle Int’l UK Event

The Triangle International UK event marked its 10th anniversary with a landmark diaspora lecture dinner held at the Great Hall of King’s College, London. The event gathered distinguished guests, including policymakers, business leaders, and members of the Nigerian diaspora, reflecting the significance of diaspora engagement in national development.

Otunba Femi Salako, Chief Executive Officer of Triangle International Magazine, expressed appreciation for the support received over the past decade. The keynote address was delivered by Dr.

Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, the Minister of Interior, who called for a structured engagement with Nigerians living abroad, highlighting their critical role in the country’s developmental trajectory. He noted Nigeria's evolving economy and the necessity for reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidies and unification of the foreign exchange system, to achieve long-term stability.

The event was attended by several high-profile individuals, including Zamfara State Governor Dr. Dauda Lawal, who discussed the strides made by his administration in restoring governance and rebuilding public confidence.
