This post caused a stir on Nigerian social media, with many followers expressing skepticism about the claim, insisting that the singer was still alive and urging prayers.

Toluwanisings himself responded, asking people to refrain from jumping to conclusions. The post was shared amid unverified rumors about the singer, and as of the time of reporting, there was no official statement from Toluwanisings' family to confirm or deny the claims.
