Nigerian House of Reps Order Paper 2 June 2026: Key Bills & Motions

The House of Representatives sat on Tuesday, 2 June 2026, with a busy legislative agenda covering bills, a motion, and committee petition reports.

Four bills were listed for second reading. The first seeks to establish a School of Hospitality in Uzairue, Edo State. The second proposes creating a National Agency for Artisanal Petroleum Refining, which would provide a regulatory framework for building and operating artisanal refineries across Nigeria. The third aims to amend the 2018 law that prohibits discrimination against persons with disabilities. The fourth is a constitutional alteration bill seeking to create additional local government areas in Imo State.
