Nigerian House of Reps Order Paper: Key Bills, May 6 2026

On bills, two were listed for second reading: one to establish a Federal Medical Centre in Monguno, Borno State, and another to create the Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma Federal University of Agriculture in Jalingo, Taraba State.
A motion was tabled to revive the Nigerian Film Commission Bill, 2026, which was passed by the previous Assembly but never received presidential assent.
Four bills were listed for full-chamber consideration, including a bill to reform the Nigeria Police Trust Fund, a road safety administration bill, a basic education amendment bill, and several agricultural institutions bills.
