Veteran Nigerian actor Lere Paimo, also known as Chief Olaler Osunpaimo, has raised concerns over an attempt to remake his iconic film 'Ogbori Elemoso' without his consent. Paimo accused individuals, including Ben Ayoola and Fewchor Studio, of planning an illegal remake of the movie.

The controversy escalated when Ayoola reportedly paid a visit to Paimo's residence and transferred money without prior agreement. Despite legal actions taken, the individuals involved remain defiant.

Paimo's public relations officer, Peter Olaley, clarified the situation amid false rumors of Paimo's death. Actor Kunle Afod also showed support for Paimo's resilience.
