Lewandowski Aims for 90th Goal in Poland vs Nigeria Match

Robert Lewandowski, the captain of the Poland National Football Team, will target his 90th international goal when Poland hosts Nigeria in a friendly match at Stadion PGE Narodowi in Warsaw on Wednesday. Lewandowski has scored 89 goals in 166 appearances for his country since making his debut on September 10, 2008.

Scoring against Nigeria would further extend his record as Poland's all-time leading scorer and bring him closer to the milestone of 100 goals. Poland's coach, Jan Urban, confirmed plans to make several changes to the starting XI following a 2-0 defeat to Ukraine, indicating that goalkeeper Kamil Grabara will replace Marcin Bułka.

Piotr Zieliński is set to start, and Urban expects to implement numerous changes in the lineup, having made nine substitutions during the previous match. This friendly will be the second meeting between the two national teams at the senior level, with their last encounter in March 2018 resulting in a 1-0 victory for Nigeria.
