LG Launches Dual Inverter Dehumidifier in Abuja

On Wednesday, LG Electronics launched its innovative Dual Inverter Dehumidifier in Abuja, aimed at enhancing climate control in Nigeria's humid environment. Mr.

Paul Mba, head of corporate marketing at LG Electronics, highlighted that the dehumidifier can remove 30 liters of moisture daily, equivalent to extracting water from hundreds of standard bottles. The device employs LG's dual inverter compressor technology, which intelligently adjusts its operation based on real-time humidity levels, ensuring effective moisture control while minimizing energy consumption.

The dehumidifier features a HEPA H13 safe filter that captures dust, allergens, and airborne bacteria, promoting healthier living spaces. Ms.

Yeeun Kim noted the discomfort caused by excess humidity and its long-term health impacts. The product operates quietly at 33 decibels, making it suitable for bedrooms and offices.

Two models were launched: the 34L DD20GMWE1 and the 28L MD16GQWE0. LG's Thinq technology allows remote monitoring via smartphones.

The dehumidifier is available across Fouani showrooms, with Mr. Moustafa Khari noting a growing demand for such products in Nigeria.
