Linkage Assurance Launches DiasporaCare+ for Nigerians Abroad

Linkage Assurance Plc has introduced DiasporaCare+, an insurance solution aimed at Nigerians living abroad, providing protection for their families, assets, and liabilities in Nigeria. The product was unveiled by Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer Daniel Braie, who stated that it aims to enhance insurance penetration and address the evolving needs of Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora.

DiasporaCare+ covers four main areas: travel, home, automobile, and holiday-related injuries. It includes features such as repatriation of mortal remains under Diaspora Travel Insurance, home protection against fire and burglary, comprehensive auto insurance options, and coverage for accidental injuries during holidays.

Chief Strategy and Product Officer Dr. Imo O. Imo explained that the product was developed after identifying protection gaps for Nigerians abroad who maintain significant ties to Nigeria.

Linkage Assurance plans to establish strategic partnerships to ensure DiasporaCare+ is accessible to Nigerians in key diaspora markets, reflecting its commitment to innovation and financial inclusion.
