FG Introduces 5 Key Changes to Nigerian Education Curriculum

The Federal Government of Nigeria has introduced 5 significant changes to the curriculum for basic, senior secondary, and technical education nationwide. The reforms aim to reduce content overload, enhance practical learning, and deepen understanding.

The Ministry of Education collaborated with key stakeholders like NERDC, UBEC, NSSEC, and NBTE to develop these changes. Students at different stages will now take a reduced number of core subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Basic Science, Technology, Culture, Creative Arts, Religion, National Values, and a Nigerian language.

The new framework will be strictly monitored to ensure its implementation across schools in Nigeria.
