LivingTrust Mortgage Bank Gets SEC Extension for 2025 Financials
LivingTrust Mortgage Bank Plc has disclosed that it missed the deadline for filing its 2025 Audited Financial Statements and has received a further extension from the Securities and Exchange Commission. The bank now targets publication of both its 2025 full-year audited accounts and Q1 2026 unaudited results by 31 May 2026.
LivingTrust Mortgage Bank Plc, in a corporate action notice dated 7 May 2026 from its Osogbo office, informed the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the public that it failed to meet the deadline for publishing its 2025 Audited Financial Statements (2025 AFS) for the year ended 31 December 2025.
The bank also disclosed that its Q1 2026 Unaudited Financial Statements for the period ended 31 March 2026 remain unfiled. It cited NGX rules, which require that a company's full-year audited accounts for the prior financial year must be filed before the first-quarter results of the following year can be submitted.
The Securities and Exchange Commission had earlier granted the bank an initial extension to file the 2025 AFS by 30 April 2026. That deadline was also missed. The Commission has since granted a further extension, permitting the bank to publish the 2025 AFS and the Q1 2026 Unaudited Financial Statements upon receipt of the required regulatory approvals. The bank stated it expects to complete filing by 31 May 2026.
The notice was signed by Dorcas Ajayi, Acting Company Secretary of LivingTrust Mortgage Bank Plc.
