Lizzy Gold Clarifies Kissing Scene with Yul Edochie

Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold spoke about the kissing scene she shared with colleague Yul Edochie in their latest film, following dating rumors. In a video posted on Instagram on 26 September 2026, she acknowledged the public's reaction to the scene and explained her reasons for agreeing to it.

Lizzy Gold revealed that she had not filmed a kissing scene in four to five years, as she does not enjoy them. She emphasized that her main condition for participating in such scenes is comfort with her co-star's breath, which she felt was met with Yul Edochie.

She noted that the kiss lasted less than a minute and was a minor part of what she described as a deeply meaningful film. Lizzy Gold also mentioned her intention to avoid kissing scenes in future productions that she does not personally own, stating that producers familiar with her preferences no longer make such requests.
