Veteran actor Clemson Cornell Agbogidi recounted a tense encounter with actress Liz Benson during a film shoot in Nollywood, which he described in an interview on the Where Is The Lie podcast. Agbogidi revealed that the situation escalated when he performed a particularly graphic scene, leading to a halt in production.

The filmmakers subsequently brought in a "relative doctor" to continue filming alongside him. In addition to this incident, Agbogidi addressed criticisms regarding his portrayal of native doctors and traditional spiritualists, asserting that he distinguishes between his real self and the characters he plays, and that he approaches his roles with full commitment.
