LOC Announces Venues for 3rd National Para Games 2026

The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) has designated the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja as the main venue for the 3rd National Para Games, which is set to occur in 2026. The stadium will host a range of events, including para athletics, para powerlifting, sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball, para taekwondo, para table tennis, para badminton, and wheelchair tennis, utilizing various indoor facilities within the stadium complex.

Additional specialized facilities will be constructed around the stadium area, including a swimming pool complex for para swimming, a velodrome for para cycling, and a shooting range for para shooting. Events for para canoeing will be held at Jabi Lake, while amputee football will take place on the FIFA Goal Project pitch.

The games are expected to attract thousands of athletes from 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), celebrating resilience and excellence in the spirit of inclusive sports.
