Over 3,000 Athletes Gear Up for 3rd National Para Games

The 3rd National Para Games is set to take place in Abuja, Nigeria, with over 3,000 athletes participating from 36 state federations, competing in 15 different sports. The event is organized by the National Sports Commission (NSC) and will serve as a platform for talent discovery and empowerment of young Nigerians.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is partnering with the NSC to facilitate the event, which will utilize the orientation camp in Kubwa, Abuja, as the official games village. This facility will house athletes and officials throughout the duration of the games, ensuring a secure and community-focused environment.

Mr. Kola Daniel, the Special Assistant to the Media at the NSC, emphasized the importance of collaboration in promoting social integration through sports and strengthening Nigeria's sports ecosystem.
