Citizen Critiques Senator Echocho's Representation Record

Augustin, a concerned citizen from Kogi East, criticized Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho's representation record in an open letter addressed to the Senate. He described Echocho's performance as poor, citing neglect of infrastructure and lack of accountability.

Augustin pointed out that communities in Kogi East continue to suffer from inadequate basic amenities, with the Ayangba-Odu road in deplorable condition and several areas in Dekina Local Government experiencing poor electricity supply and lack of access to potable water. He expressed concern over the educational sector, noting little visible intervention in the renovation and development of primary and secondary schools.

Major road infrastructure, including the Itobe-Bridge road along the Idah axis, has also suffered years of neglect. Augustin called for greater transparency in managing public resources and urged the senator to reconnect with the realities faced by constituents, emphasizing the need for service delivery rather than mere rhetoric.
