Hamza Madagali Elected New APC Chairman in Adamawa

Hamza Bello Madagali has emerged as the new chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, following the recent state congress held in Yola. He succeeds Idri Shuaibu, the immediate past chairman.

The congress, which took place on a Saturday, also saw the appointment of Mustapha Atiku Ribadu as the new state public secretary and Victor Dogo, the former public secretary of the PDP, joining the new executive. Madagali's election is particularly significant as he is a close associate of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, who recently defected from the PDP to the APC.

During his acceptance speech, Madagali assured APC members of fair treatment regardless of their status within the party. The event was attended by notable party leaders, including Mahmud Ribadu, who emphasized the need for the APC to work diligently to ensure success in the upcoming general elections.
