Scandal Unfolds: Nigerian Prison Officer Accused of Raping and Impregnating Inmate

In a disturbing incident at the Corrective Center in Potiskum, Yobe State, allegations have surfaced against Senior Correctional Officer ASC II Sani Saleh Bodejo for raping and impregnating a female inmate, Bless Sunday, who is already 27 weeks pregnant. The scandal involves a cover-up orchestrated by top officials, including Abdullahi Ibrahim and Ibrahim Tafida.

Efforts to conceal the crime and terminate the pregnancy secretly have been reported, despite health risks. The scandal has reached the General Corrective Zonal Command, with no visible disciplinary actions taken yet.
