PDP Holds Emergency BoT Meeting in Abuja with Key Leaders

On Tuesday, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) convened an emergency Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting in Abuja, with notable attendance from Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, former deputy national chairman Bode George, and other prominent party members including Bala Mohammed, Jerri Gana, and Babangida Aliyu. The meeting, chaired by Adolphus Wabara, was prompted by a recent court judgment delivered on Monday, which the party viewed as an opportunity to regroup and strategize.

The official notice indicated that the meeting was scheduled for 2 PM and warned that attendance would be strictly limited to properly notified board members, advising non-members to stay away. Mao Ohuabunwa signed the notice, which also mentioned a subsequent meeting planned for Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
