Wike's PDP Faction Calls BoT Meeting After Court Rulings

The faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) led by Nyesom Wike has announced a Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting in response to recent federal high court rulings. The meeting, scheduled for March 11, 2026, at 2 PM, will take place at 1 Sabo Ago Street, Life Camp, Abuja.

Mao Ohuabunwa, the current chair of the BoT, signed the notice for the meeting, which aims to address the implications of the court's decisions. The notice emphasizes that the BoT recognizes the constitution of the party and the leadership of Abdulrahman Anyanwu, who heads the National Caretaker Working Committee (NCWC).

The meeting is positioned as a formal invitation to all BoT members and follows the court's ratification of an appeal in Abuja, which the faction urges members to consider seriously.
