APC Claims Makinde and Supporters Set Date to Leave PDP

The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has alleged that Governor Seyi Makinde and his supporters have reached a consensus on a date to exit the People's Democratic Party (PDP). This statement was made public by Wasiu Olawale, the APC's state secretary, on Thursday.

The APC criticized Makinde for allegedly abandoning his gubernatorial responsibilities in pursuit of political aspirations related to the 2027 elections. They pointed out that he has failed to pay adequate attention to pressing issues in the state, including security challenges and waste management, which have led to loss of lives and road accidents.

The APC urged the governor to prioritize governance over political maneuvers.
