Makinde and Wife Receive Chieftaincy Titles in Ibarapa

Oyo State Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde and his wife Engineer Tamunomini Makinde were honored with the chieftaincy titles of Aare Asoludero of Ibarapa Land and Yeye Aare Asoludero of Ibarapa, respectively. The titles were conferred by the Eleruwa of Eruwa Land, Oba Samuel Adegbola Ajobo Olurin I, during a ceremony on Saturday that celebrated the monarch's first anniversary on the throne and the commissioning of the newly reconstructed Eleruwa Palace in Eruwa, Ibarapa East Local Government Area.

Governor Makinde expressed gratitude for the honor and reiterated his administration's commitment to inclusive governance and equitable development across Oyo State. He assured the residents of Ibarapa that ongoing projects, including the Ido-Eruwa Road project, would be completed and mentioned the possibility of establishing a university campus in the zone.

Oba Adegbola praised the couple for their contributions to society and urged the Governor to expedite the completion of local projects.
