Oyo Monarchs Praise Makinde for Road Infrastructure Efforts

On Tuesday, traditional rulers and local government chairmen from Oyo East and Oyo West Local Government Areas commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his administration's commitment to road infrastructure. The inspection was led by Oyo East Local Government Chairman Oluokun Olusola and Oyo West Local Government Chairman Akeem Olukitibi.

They inspected a newly completed asphalt-tarred road linking Iseke, Ladindin, Ojongbodu, and Isokun, covering a total of four kilometres, with 3.2 kilometres in Oyo East and 0.8 kilometres in Oyo West. Akeem Olukitibi praised Makinde for prioritizing road infrastructure, stating it has improved transportation and stimulated economic activities.

Olusola highlighted the administration's commitment to community welfare and mentioned several key projects, including the Apaara–Oke Apo Road and Kosobo Road. Both chairmen acknowledged the support of former Speaker Monsurat Sunmonu in the successful execution of these projects.

Traditional rulers, including the Onisamu of Samu, praised Makinde as a visionary leader transforming communities through strategic infrastructure development.
