Yobe State Governor's Flyover Project in Damaturu to Transform Urban Mobility and Boost Economy

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State is overseeing the construction of a modern flyover in Damaturu, the state capital, to alleviate traffic congestion and enhance road safety. The project, which is at an advanced stage, is set to become a landmark initiative reshaping urban mobility and stimulating economic activities.

The flyover will link major routes like Potiskum, Gashua, Gujba, and Maiduguri, aiming to improve vehicular movement, reduce travel time, and enhance overall transport efficiency. The project also focuses on creating direct and indirect employment opportunities, supporting local businesses, and ensuring economic benefits circulate within the state.

The Yobe State Ministry of Works confirms a key focus on local content participation in the project.
