Manchester United Plans 100,000-Seater 'New Trafford' for 2035 Women's World Cup

Manchester United has unveiled plans to construct a 100,000-capacity stadium named 'New Trafford' in time to host matches for the 2035 FIFA Women's World Cup. The UK and Ireland are jointly bidding to host the event, with the new stadium being one of the proposed 22 sites.

The project, which includes a list of Premier League stadiums, aims to revitalize the Old Trafford district and serve the local community in Greater Manchester. Notably, the design excludes Sir Jim Ratcliffe's £2 billion Wembley North concept.

Despite initial delays, the 'New Trafford' stadium remains a central part of Manchester United's long-term infrastructure plans.
