Manhunt Begins for Abductors of Two Osun Residents in Security Operation

The Nigerian Police Force has launched a manhunt for the gunmen who abducted two residents, Tayes Adeyey and Sunday Adewumi, in a community bordering Kwara state. The victims were seized during an attack at a private residence along the Aran Orin road in the Papa area.

This abduction comes amidst growing concerns over security in the region, following a previous kidnapping incident involving former customs officer Emmanuel Owolabi. The police have initiated search and rescue operations to locate and rescue the abducted individuals.

The incident occurred late on a Sunday night, with the gunmen storming the victims' house, firing shots, and fleeing with them. The community is on edge as this latest abduction adds to the existing fears of insecurity in the area.
