ADC National Chairman Mark Receives Policy Report on Reforms

On Tuesday, David Mark, the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), received an interim report from the party's policy manifesto committee at the party secretariat in Abuja. Mark stressed the necessity for holistic reforms to tackle Nigeria's pressing economic issues without imposing unbearable hardship on the populace.

He noted that the committee's proposals aim to establish a principled and gradual sequence of reforms. The interim report represents a significant milestone since the committee's inauguration in February.

Mark highlighted that Nigeria's problems are not new and emphasized the importance of correctly diagnosing these issues to formulate effective policies. He urged the committee to focus on structural challenges rather than merely treating symptoms.

The ADC plans to present its manifesto ahead of the party convention scheduled for April 14, 2026, aiming to demonstrate that it is not just a political party seeking power but one committed to governance and citizen welfare.
