Mayweather vs Pacquiao Rematch Delayed Indefinitely

Disagreements over venue financing were also cited as a significant issue. Earlier in the week, Mayweather's camp claimed that plans for an exhibition match in Greece were canceled due to a dispute with CSI, which they allege has already paid Mayweather millions for the rematch rights.

The public disagreement between the two camps has delayed the announcement of the proposed rematch, which was initially expected to take place in September. Pacquiao's team believes that the earliest they could look to reschedule the rematch would be in early 2027, contingent on resolving issues with Mayweather's side.
