FIFA Reports Record $13 Billion in Men's Football Transfer Fees for 2025

FIFA's annual global transfer market report reveals a record $13.08 billion in men's football transfer fees for 2025, with 86,158 international transfers completed. Women's football saw 2,440 transfers totaling $28.6 million, an 80% increase from the previous year.

Men's professional football clubs in England spent $3.82 billion, with Brazilian clubs leading in the number of transfers. The top spenders were Premier League clubs Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea, while Paris Saint-Germain, the current Champions League winner, did not feature in the top 20.

The total transfer spending in men's and women's football, including professional and amateur levels, reached $13.11 billion, representing a 50% increase from 2024 and surpassing the previous record set in 2023.
