Saudi Arabia Warns Iran Amid Rising Tensions and Attacks

On a recent occasion, Saudi Arabia's Defence Minister Khalid bin Salman issued a warning to Iran, urging the nation to avoid miscalculations following a series of missile and drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defence reported that their air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed missiles and drones aimed at the kingdom, including an attack on the Prince Sultan Air Base, which hosts U.S. military personnel.

Additionally, at least 17 drones were reportedly shot down earlier in the week, including those targeting the Shaybah Oil Field, a major oil installation near the border with the United Arab Emirates. The warning from Prince Khalid came during a meeting with Asim Munir, an official discussing the Iranian attacks and the need to address escalating tensions that undermine regional security and stability.

He expressed hope that Iran would exercise wisdom to avoid further military confrontations in the Gulf region.
