Iran Strikes Kuwait's Desalination Plant Amid Regional Tensions

On a recent date, Iran launched an attack on a desalination plant in Kuwait, which is a crucial source of water supply for the Gulf state. The strike resulted in the death of an Indian worker and caused significant material damage to the facility.

Fatima Haya, a spokesperson for Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, confirmed the destruction of the plant. This attack is part of a broader pattern of Iranian aggression against Kuwait, which has intensified amid ongoing conflicts involving Yemen's Houthi group, who have also targeted Israel with ballistic missiles.

Yahya Sare, a spokesperson for the Houthi group, stated that their attacks will continue until their objectives are achieved and aggression against their front ceases. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard confirmed the death of its commander, Alireza Tangsiri, in recent U.S.-Israeli strikes, adding to the list of Iranian officials killed in the ongoing conflict.
