Zlatan Ibile and Davita Announce Wedding Celebration Plans

Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile and his longtime partner, Davita, have announced plans for a wedding celebration, following months of speculation and denials regarding their relationship status. The announcement was made in a video filmed aboard a private jet while en route to fellow celebrity Soso Soberekon's wedding, with guests including singer Teni and media personality Toke Makinwa.

In the video, Teni introduced Davita as Zlatan's "wonderful wife" and confirmed the couple's upcoming wedding. Davita, when asked if the invitation extended to their fans, expressed her shyness.

The couple's relationship has been publicly scrutinized over the past year; in January, Zlatan clarified that Davita was the mother of his children, not his wife. By March, they sparked further speculation by sharing family photos with matching rings.

Reports later revealed that they had quietly held a private civil wedding ceremony in December 2025, which became public in May after leaked photos surfaced online.
