China Dominates Nigeria's Imports with 39% Share

In the first half of 2026, China supplied goods worth N11.01 trillion to Nigeria, representing 39.27% of the country's total imports, which amounted to N28.04 trillion. This data indicates China's growing dominance in Nigeria's import market, even as the overall import bill decreased by more than 15% compared to the same period in 2025.
