Mr. Ibu's Family Receives 7.5 Million Naira in Donations

Following a public plea by Stella Okafor, the widow of late Nollywood actor Mr. Ibu, his family received 7.5 million Naira in donations.

The appeal was made due to financial struggles, including unpaid school fees and rent. Stella Okafor, a content creator, revealed in an interview that the family had been without electricity for two months due to unpaid bills, and their children were sent home from school over outstanding fees.

The donations will be used to pay for the eldest daughter's WAEC registration and cover the family's rent. The public appeal has also led to a family dispute, with Mr.

Ibu's third son, Somtochukwu Okafor, publicly disputing claims of poverty and accusing his stepmother of hoarding the late actor's estate and secretly selling a Lagos property worth 60 million Naira.
