Mr P Apologizes for Controversial Language Comments

Mr P, a former member of the music duo P-Square, issued an apology on his X account for his recent comments regarding Nigerian languages, which he described as "useless." He clarified that his remarks were misunderstood and not aimed at belittling any language or culture. The controversy arose after he stated that Nigerian languages do not help individuals secure opportunities, leading to widespread criticism on social media.

Mr P maintained that he never singled out the Igbo language and insisted that his comments were taken out of context. He also accused his brother, Rudeboy, of attempting to damage his reputation during controversies.

The apology follows a history of public disagreements between the twin brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye, who gained fame as P-Square but have had a strained relationship since their split over family and business issues.
